Purple Goddess Smoothie
Ingredients
1/2 cup purple beets (cubed or sliced)
1/2 frozen ripe banana
1/4 cup mango (frozen or fresh)
1/4 cup blueberries or mixed berries (frozen or fresh)
handful of Purple Kale
Optional - handful of sprouts
1/2 chopped carrot
1 tbsp ground flaxseeds
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt or low fat cottage cheese
1/2 cup orange juice, POG, or almond milk, or any liquid of choice
Optional - for higher protein content, add a scoop of protein powder of choice (vanilla or unflavored usually goes best)
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
If it is too thick to blend, add a small amount of water to thin it out.
