Purple Goddess Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup purple beets (cubed or sliced)

  • 1/2 frozen ripe banana

  • 1/4 cup mango (frozen or fresh)

  • 1/4 cup blueberries or mixed berries (frozen or fresh)

  • handful of Purple Kale

  • Optional - handful of sprouts

  • 1/2 chopped carrot

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseeds

  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt or low fat cottage cheese

  • 1/2 cup orange juice, POG, or almond milk, or any liquid of choice

  • Optional - for higher protein content, add a scoop of protein powder of choice (vanilla or unflavored usually goes best)

Directions:

  • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

  • If it is too thick to blend, add a small amount of water to thin it out.

  • Enjoy!
